Do you know this plant : Quercus buckleyi

The Texas red oak belongs to the group of the red oaks just like Q. palustris, Q. coccinea, Q. phellosÂ… The leave is shorter and broader than that of Q. palustris but it has more or less the same dentation. Often seen as a multi-stemmed tree in its natural habitad, it will eventually reach a height of 8-12m with a round crown. It is one of the few red oaks that grows well on dry calcareous soils and therefore it can be use in the pavement of a street.

On a 7 hectare site we grow a wide range of hardy ornamental trees. We specialize in Aesculus, Crataegus, Quercus, and Tilia, although we offer some other genera as well. We are located in the western part of Belgium in hardiness zone 8.
